Preparing to become a parent is immensely exciting, but can also be one of the most overwhelming, life-changing occurrences you will ever experience.  Think of your New Parent Consultant as your parenting personal assistant. You don't have to start from scratch and do it alone!  An expert will help guide you through all there is to think about when making plans for your bundle of joy.  Guidance through a healthy pregnancy, preparations for birth day, planning showers, ordering furniture, selecting equipment, gear, accessories, and even childcare are just some of the many things you'll be glad your New Parent Consultant is by your side for.

Also known as a mother to the new mother, a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula will help you get acclimated to life with baby and your own new life as a mother.  A woman's body undergoes many changes after giving birth; emotionally, mentally, and physically, and it's not something you can necessarily prepare for.  Having a doula by your side to support you through your healing process and help you learn and adjust to your new baby and new ways of life can be instrumental to your wellbeing as a new family.

A night nanny is your saving grace when the lack of sleep catches up with you as a new parent.  We know the responsibilities of caring for a newborn are endless and it's hard to feel rejuvenated and ready for a new day when you can't get a solid night's sleep.  A night nanny will take over the responsibilities of caring for your newborn while you get the deep, restorative sleep you need to be a functional, content parent.

Keeping our children protected in the car is imperative, after all motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death in children.  But there is so much to know about safely securing a child in the car seat and the car seat into the car that there are many mistakes that can be made.  Having a certified CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) check your seat's installation and the fit of your baby will give you peace of mind knowing that your child is as safe as can be while on the road.

An Infant Feeding Educator is versatilely trained in all the ways to nourish your newborn.  Whether you are considering or decide on nursing, chestfeeding, bottle feeding, breastmilk or formula, we can help guide you through the options and aspects of each to help discover  the best method of feeding baby for you and your family.  And when it come times for the next stage, stepping into the world of food will be a fun and exciting journey too!

Eating right is the foundation to recovery after giving birth.  Your body needs healing from all of the changes it has undergone over the past 9 months and continues to undergo.  Eating right helps not just you, but your baby too.  There are certain foods proven to help heal your body and boost milk production after birth, but no ones has time to focus on eating right and making meals while caring for a newborn.  Our Postpartum Nutrition Specialist will do your shopping (if desired) and come to your home to prepare delicious meals of your choice so that you can focus on the other stuff that needs your time and attention.
