Overnight Baby Care

One of the most challenging aspects of becoming a new parent is the sleep deprivation.  Newborns have constant demands and eat every 2-3 hours around the clock for months, which can lead to exhaustion for parents. This can impact your physical and mental well-being if not managed.  Having overnight care means you get to sleep through the night without being disturbed so you can get the deep, rejuvenate sleep necessary to properly recharge for tomorrow.

Mother and Baby

Overnight Baby Care consists of a postpartum doula coming to your home and taking over all baby related tasks until morning.  Typical shifts are 10pm-6am (with some flexibility), and your doula will feed, change, swaddle, and comfort your baby throughout the night while you rest. Additional tasks can include cleaning and sanitizing bottles, folding baby laundry, and assisting with pumping and storage.

If you are exclusively breastfeeding, we will bring the baby to you when they are awake and ready to feed, so you can breastfeeding and go right back to sleep.  If you have enough breastmilk pumped or are formula feeding, we can feed baby without disrupting you, and if you need to wake and pump, we'll retrieve the milk when you're done, store it, and clean the pump parts to prepare for next time.

When you awake in the morning you'll feel refreshed, happy, and ready to be the best parent you can be!

This is our most popular service, and we are typically booked a few months out.  It's best to book in the early stages of pregnancy so we are able to fully accommodate your needs.

We had a great experience with Lauren at Babymoon! She provided us much-needed overnight support during some challenging early weeks when sleep was at an absolute premium. With her professional and calming presence, she truly made a positive difference in our journey as new parents. Thank you, Lauren!
